Why “more marketing” won’t solve your business problems

I’d like to share an observation with you.

Whenever I ask women entrepreneurs like you what they’re struggling with they often say “more marketing”.
This is usually because their mind (and therefore their business) is in scarcity mode.

They keep having these thoughts about their business like “I don’t have enough customers coming in! I gotta start making money with this thing or I’m going to have to quit it.”

And other thoughts because your mind is focused on what you DON’T have.

I know… I’ve had them myself!

But if you’re having these thoughts, I’d like to invite you to take a step back and answer these questions:

Would I have the things in place I needed to support these customers?
Do I know who these customers are? What’s on their mind?
Do I know what would attract them to me?
And if the answer is “no” to any of those questions you aren’t quite ready yet. You still have some foundational work to do.

Here’s what’ll happen when you start answering “yes” to those questions:

Your visibility will grow, your email list will grow, your listenership/readership/viewership will grow, and your customer list will grow as well.
